Aloha People,
It’s November 1st 2008 and as such is the start of NaBloPoMo. With this in mind I have decided to start my return to blogging today and not when I get around to making new graphics and stuff. There’s alot to tidy up in the background and a few bits and pieces that i want to redo or remodel. I may put in a swimming pool or a gym but thats all in good time. For now though I am happy to say that I am back and planning to stay for a while.
I hope to write not only about my time playing Noobiewan but to also create new adventures for my character for you to enjoy. I’m likely to also throw in the occasional WoW inspired rewrite of a song sometimes too.
So I just want to do a quick round up of some of the changes that have happened since I last was writing here. Firstly, and most importantly, Noobiewan isn’t just Noobiewan anymore. He is The Incredible Noobiewan. I know I’ve had the film poster spoofs with that on but I’ve decided to make that the title of the Blog so I will be changing the banner shortly.

The Incredible Noobiewan
Next, I stepped down from being an Officer in The Black Citadel for health reasons however, I am planning on returning to that role as soon as I can. Here’s why: With the expansion coming the guild has been finding it harder and harder to do any raiding at all. They’ve only been able to get into Mount Hyjal once and that was with outside help to make up numbers. There have been a number of attempts to get the guild more focused by the Raidleaders and Officers. But in the end our main raidleader left the guild and I feel that I’ll be needed to help maintain moral until the expansion comes out and people pick themselves out of this slump. There have been reorganisations in guild structure and rewriting of the rules but it’s still the same ol’guild in the end. And there is hope.
Last night I logged on and, as usual, had nothing really to do. The zombie plague seemed to have phased out and the quests to stop the necropolis invasion had already been done. Only the new boss in Kara needed doing but I just couldn’t face that. I needed something fun. I needed Molten Core!
You see the achievement for MC was the only one that, for reasons unknown even to me, actually bothered me that it didn’t show as complete. I had slaughtered the Elemental Old God with 39 or my fellow guildmates and had the full Giantstalker Armour set to prove my time in that hellish hole. So it needed to be complete.
So I I asked one of my guildmates. and they said that they weren’t attuned to MC on that character. “Thats easy to sort out” said I, And soon, I was leading a small group through BRD to get the Core Fragment. We then went to kill the last boss and get the achievement for BRD. (Yay!). Heading back to the MC portal to then get to the MC attunment quest giver, I said why not see if we can get a group and clear MC (It was one of my more subtler moments). We managed to get hold of a total of 15 people (some swapped onto alts when needed) and we managed to fight ourway though MC. It was such a fun night. And the best bit for me is still when Ragnaros bursts up. He is still the coolest boss for me.

The Fire Lord himself!

- MC Completed!
And so that was the end of that enjoyable evening which got me the achievement i was missing and also made me feel alittle better that the guild could still get together and so some fun things.
Hopefully I’ll be seeing you all again tomorrow.
