Hello Hunters,

Well I did it. I got Noobiewan from 70 to 80. I may not have got the achievements for completing the quests in certain areas but I did follow many of the story lines to the end. looking back the Troll Gods story in Zul’drak was one of my favourite lines aswell as the story of the Keepers in Storm Peaks. I just love how all these storylines come together to form the plot of this expansion. I still have tons of work to do, gearing, questing, preping for raiding and most importantly of all helping my guildmates also get to 80 and through the content.

As you can see my interface is not as elegant as some but it suits me fine. As long as I have Zhunter, I’m ok.

Now that I’ve got to 80, I’ll also feel free to actually play some of my Death Knight Wanoobiewan and maybe even play some of my other non-WoW games.

Until next time, this is Noobiewan signing off from The Storm Peaks, Northrend.

Hi, Noobiewan here.

Last night I continued my way though the epic story that is Wrath of the Lich King. All is going fine. I managed to (finally) get a group together and complete the last quest for The Nexus, complete Azjol-Nerub and the Old Kingdom instances.

But what I am refering to is the amazing Cutscene that comes at the end of the quest chain that leads you up to the Wraithgate in Dragonblight. I won’t tell you the details, that would ruin it for you people still to get there but its something that again kicked the expansion up another level. Any more surprises like this and there won’t be any levels left for Blizzard for future expansions. Kudos Blizzard, Kudos!

On a seperate note, I threw my Gorrilla Funkykong out of Dalaran’s sewer exit.

And he’s so awesome he just shrugged it off and went on running!

Anyhoo, gotta rush, wanting to be the first The Black Citadel Hunter to 80 but theres some competition.

Like many people I started in the Howling Fjord but I started there because the area looked the most interesting not because I thought it would be less populated. The spread of people was pretty even amoung the two starting areas. The opening view coming to the port is amazing.

Howling Fjord

I explored the area and was amazed by how the quests in each area seemed to flow. The narritive is fantastic and that is something that I look for in my gaming experiences. The area I’ve enjoyed the most has been Zul’Drak. The story of the Trolls and the sacrifices they are making to try and keep Arthas away mixed with the quests and how it makes you explore the area, section by section this has been Blizzard at its finest.

Zul'Drak

At his present moment Im at level 75 and helping Nesingwary carry out his extermination of the wildlife. The only thing I’m having a problem is gathering members of my guild to get into the instances past The Nexus and for completing the group quests. I had this problem in Burning Crusade also. I’m not very good at asking random people to group up and quest or explore dungeons. This is leading up to my quest log becoming very full of quests going nowhere. Hopefully this will change in time as more people get to the level I’m at.
Now if you will excuse me I have wildlife to hunt.
See ya soon.

Well that’s only one of the reasons why I’ve not posted in the last 2 days. The other was that my copy came with its own Plague of Undeath in the box. Thoe guys at Blizzard think of everything for player experience.

Im planning on writing my first impressions soon and also write up how the Death Knight I created will fit into my Characters RP storyline.

I have found one problem though. With installing WotLK, I can no longer find my screenshot folder. It’s not been moved its just now invisible and nothing I’ve done seems to bring it back :(

Anyway, I hope to have a longer post soon. PS if ya see any Palidins who can cleanse this off me please send them my way, thanks

Nearly two years and 10 Levels ago, I installed The Burning Crusade. “You are not prepared” cried Illidan. and as it turned out he was right!

Our guild made many mistakes that ended up costing us not seeing end-game content.

We spent too much time creating up teams to go into Kara. They would get bored and move on. Most of the best guilds on our server have ex-The Black Citadel members in there. There was internal problems as well, power struggles and the like.

I’ve been into Mount Hyjal and seen the first boss. Some of our members have completed Black temple. Sunwell has been a dream for us all.

Dispite all this, I still had fun. I got my 10 levels and had some great times with my guild. And this has given us all lessons in how not to make the same mistakes again.

The Crusade maybe over but the War continues and Noobiewan will be there at the front. We’re coming for you Arthas.

With only one more sleep until the expansion is released I headed into the game to see what final push Arthas had instore. I was on two seconds before the Yell of the King rang out saying the Harbour was under attack. Being the kinda guy to respond to an emergency call like that I rushed to the Harbour.

There were Abominations on the ground and Frost Wyrm Raptors filled the skies. The Valiant Stormwind Guards were mounting a great defence but I wasn’t gonna let them steal all the fun so I jumped right in and started attacking the nearest enemy.

It took me a while but I finally located the King who had moved from the throne room of the Keep and had a command post at the Harbour. It was his companions that surprised me. I have one of them on my desk!

With the King are Broll Bearmantle and Valeera Sanguinar.

Now these two are characters that were In the DC comics and also were DC Unlimited Models.

I have Valeera but not Broll. (Softi would go nuts I think having a model of a MALE Night Elf Druid instead of a felmale one) But I also have a number of the others too. I had read some of the comics aswell but hadn’t read up to the bit where it was revealed that their human companion was the King!!!

Im hoping that some of the other models are put in game at some point, especially Rehgar the Orc Shaman and Thargas Anvilmar the Dwarf Warrior.

I hope that there will be more of these crossover elements in the future, I know there are references to some of the other Warcraft books in the game but it’s nice to actually meet these people in game.

Hello all,

So last night was our guilds last offical guild raid. It was ZA once again. Now we had some problems on our last few attemps. Well the last one was cancelled outright and the time before that we couldn’t get past Hexlord.

We managed to get a good group (Although the other hunter really needs to learn when to turn off his pets attacks) and after only an hour trying to get everyone of Teamspeak we managed to get started. we managed to clear 2 of the timed chests missing out on the 3rd by a second. Hexlord and Zul’jin went down with no problems at all. It was a great run.

Now a few days to rest and start the preparations for traveling to the Northen lands of Northrend.

This was the largest mount i’ve ever seen in Azeroth so far. I hear ther are large mammoths out there in Northrend but until i see them, this one keeps the crown.

Hey people,

I was supposed to be doing a ZA run this evening but it was cancelled as we didn’t have enough Healers.

Then a friend and ex guildie Pembious offered up a Heroic Ramparts run. But halfway through he had to leave for a ZA run.

Then my friend Bixxi asked if i wanted to join in their AQ40 run. Hell yeah, then we went on to AQ20 and cleared ZG too! not too bad all in all.

Hello Internet using lifeforms,

Today I have been updating some parts of the site. Well I say “I” when I mean Softi has been handling the maintenance side of it, I provided the content.

The Banner has been changed, a new page has been put up with details of the character Bio’s of my WoW Avatars. The only problem has been my site favicon. I have one. I can see it if i use Softi’s iMac Safari browser but my own IE won’t display it no matter what I try.

I would like to say a massive GRATZ! to Softi for making it to the 1st year anniversary for her main blog. Not a warcraft blog, its a Mum Blog. You have been warned!

Other then that it’s been a quiet day in WoW as the servers were down for the morning with an extended maintenance. When they came back, I just did a couple of daily quests for gold and thats it.

Hope you like some of the changes.
