I have Elvis with me now!

Elvis, for you who don’t know, is my PC that I put together with my own two hands.
But Elvis is poorly. Its graphic card failed and I have just sent it on a trip to Germany to be looked at and hopefully replaced.
Once it returns though, I will be able to resume my game playing once again! Wahahahahaha!!!!

And I’ll be able to take more screenshots and make banners and stuff!

Just hope nothing goes wrong…

Hey people,

Today going to write about the things coming up that are not WoW related but I’m excited about.
First of all I’m very very excited about the new Star Trek film being shown in the cinema’s soon. I’m a huge Trek fan since I was a kid and have been waiting to see if this will do the franchise justice. From what I’m seeing on the net already from the lucky people who have been able to see early release of the film it’s looking good. I have to admit that I’m not a big fan of the new look Enterprise but I’m not going to let that inital dislike spread in to the rest of the film. I’m sure there are people who don’t like the orginal or the film versions. To be honest I started off not liking the Enterprise-D when I first saw it.
I’m debating weither to get a deluxe Captain Kirk uniform for ..erm… Halloween. (I think they bought that Noobie, good good)
In terms of Games, the next big thing for me will be Batman: Arkham Asylum. I must have watched that opening trailer so many times now. Having Kevin Conroy, and Mark Hamil back in the roles of the Batman and Joker is fantastic as they both play the roles perfectly. The Joker’s hysterical laughter echoing the halls of Arkham and the Dark Knight trying to solve the mystery of what’s going on while dealing with the escaped inmates. Oh I can’t wait!
Book-wise, I’m looking forward to reading the Black Library’s latest Horus Heresy book: Tales of Heresy. Having bought and read all the books in the series so far I just can’t stop now. The Heresy is revealed and the civil war of the Space Marines is underway. With stories from some of the best Warhammer 40K writers making this a book that I’ll just have to get at some point.

And thats what I’m looking forward to in the near future.

Hey People,

So the normal co-host of The Elitists Podcast was a little under the weather (Hope you get well soon Andrew) and so I had volunteered to jump in when ever they needed me.
As with every episode the talk is about Blizzard and the entertainment that they provide us.
I just want to go on record and say that in my defence (uh oh, i hear you groan) I had only had 5 hours sleep that day after starying up all night so I could be in the chatroom for the Twisted Nether Blogcast and I have been kinda busy with the second week of training for my new job. Also I spent most of the week trying to get 3.1 on the lappy (laptop).
Well thats the excuses behind. All I would say is thanks to Tristan for giving me a chance and I hope that I wasn’t so bad that they’ll never let me on again.

it’s 2 in the morning and I want to sleep at this time. I wanted to be up early so I could start the download on my lappy before I had to haul my wonderfully sculptured butt off to work (Some people may have different idea of what is a wonderfully sculptured butt, but I don’t care! Didn’t you read! it’s 2 in the moring!). I don’t think it going to happen without some swear words happening aswell.

But I’ve been reading up on the most up-to-date noted for 3.1 and I’m happy about the changes that will effect my class and professions.
ok, I lied there. My brain is soooooo focused on my new job that even reading the notes 2 or 3 times hasn’t resulted in anything going in about 3.1 except the fact I’m unlikely to see the new content any time soon (or ever as the case may be).
I don’t mind though, What I can do, is put some writing time in for Noobie related stories. You’ll hear more about that when I have something to post.

I hope to cover some more other things during the week, which will probably be when I’m supposed to be asleep.

Been busy the last few days preparing to move away from my family to start a new job. Where I am going will only have my laptop for playing WoW and blogging. There will be a small delay before I can get back into writing again but I should have something for you and also I’ll get to do the meme that Triz tagged me with.
I also plan to update my blog roll with some of the newer sites im now reading and also the new podcasts I’m listening to.

Now when Phae from Resto4life announced that she had to leave her Blog Blizzard responded by creating the item Phaelia’s Vestments of the Sprouting Seed. This got me to thinking what kind of item would be best suited to remember BRK’s contribution to Hunters.
Really there was only one possible outcome!

Softi tagged me and so not to be rude I am answering these very important questions.

1. What is your name, and where did it come from?

My full name is Noobiewan Bearstalker. Noobiewan is a name created by my father rather then using a name already in use. The same happened with my brother Noobielite too.

(In RL, just was playing about with the Star Wars name Obi Wan and the fact that im a noob. Although I came up with this name, turns out Im not the only one with that idea and there is a NoobieWan out there too but it was original for me.)

2. How old are you, and when is your birthday?

125 like it says on the Cast page

(23/2/06 is when Noobiewan was created- my wedding anniversery. (Love you Babe!))

3. Are you in love, and with whom?

As a Hunter, I love the world and its creatures. Despite what you may have heard I am not in love with Softithistle. I prefer my own company for now, that and my Pets but not in any way that’s going to cross the line!

4. What is your favorite mount, and why?

The Gnome Mechnostrider! in Green! or White! Because it’s awesome.

(always wanted one of them! Have the model of the gnome warrior on one on my desk)

5. Do you prefer a certain type of Azerothian meal, and where do you get it from?

Im not a fussy eater. So long as it’s cooked right I’ll eat it.

(except tomatos. HATE them!)

6. You know those giant mushrooms in Zangarmarsh? What is your theory on how they came to be, and why are they so huge?

I believe it was the release of the raw elemental energies of the Twisting Nether when the portals that destroyed much of the planet were opened.

(I think Blizz just like big mushrooms as they are good for artwork and also that they are naturally that size)

7. If you saw the Lich King walking toward you, what would you do?

Steel myself for battle! He shall not be allowed to remain unchallenged.

With the real world Noobiewan about to start a new job, Noobiewan’s play time in WoW is being reduced. To this end I have moved Noobie over to the Bloodhoof (eu) server and joined with Lightwalkers. Some of you may know that the WoW bloggers Softthistle and Aurik are both over there and in that guild too so it seemed a good idea to join them really.

In other news, Softi now has her very own Spirit Beast. Hooray!

And in other Softi related news, She’s looking to do a relaunch of A Little WoW for Me! In between finding a new job, filling forms for housing/benefits/the kitchin sink and preparing my home for sale there is a little of WoW and at the moment very little else.
What little time I have in WoW is usually devoted to raiding or the procurment of potions, elixiers, foods and lynx deoderant for the lady dwarfs
I’m having little time for my little space here. But I haven’t forgotten or been idle, just too busy.
On the plus side things look to be moving into a better position in Real Life and I may even be able to post again sometime again real soon. (Im waiting for the wallpaper steamer to heat up and i have done everything else for today so I can write for you.)
On to WoW stuff, Have been doing Naxx 10 man with the new Guild. You may remember that I decided to leave my old guild and join with some of the other officers who left to make a new guild. We have done some bosses in Naxx, have cleared OS and even cleared VoA on 10man guild run too.
I have also been pugging 25man Naxx and VoA in the hope that some loot drops that I can have. This approch work out last night when I got the tier 7.5 Shoulders. Our main tank out bid me for the tier 7 shoulders and sometimes mocks me for it so wanted to shove these in his face…but he didn’t come on
Been having a problem looking into the best combination of enchants and gems to get the best dps out of my beastmaster spec. Softthistle keeps on at me to change spec to get the higher dps but I’m not confortable with changing spec for the dps, I play for the fun of BM spec.
Not much else happening atm in game so I’ll lave ya for know and hope to see ya all again soon.
